Winter weather is expected to return to Missouri.
The National Weather Service in Springfield (NWS) has forecasted snow showers from Thursday night through Friday.
In preparation for the upcoming winter weather, Springfield Public Works is readying its fleet of 32 plow trucks.
They want to remind drivers that when salt trucks are on the road, it’s crucial to give them space.
MoDOT also wants to remind drivers to plan ahead. They recommend that you check out road conditions before you go.
