The City of Fair Grove is under a boil water advisory.
The advisory went into effect on Wednesday.
According to a post from the Fair Grove Police Department, a bacterial water sample tested positive for E. Coli and coliform in the Greene County PWSD 5 system.
The city is awaiting the results from repeat samples to confirm the presence of bacteria in the water system.
Residents are advised to boil water for at least three minutes and let it cool before using.
