Unofficial results show that Troy Smith won the Willard Mayoral seat over Samuel Snider.
Troy Smith won with 57% of the vote, earning 450 votes compared to Samuel Snider’s 337 votes.
In April, Troy Smith and Samuel Snider each received 349 votes in the Willard mayoral race.
The clerk’s office is still waiting for any military or overseas ballots that will need to be returned by noon on Friday.
The certification of the votes will happen around 12:30 PM on Friday.
